This Child Protection Policy and Procedures Manual ("Policy") is the property of Tia Kids Africa Foundation and is intended for use by Tia Kids Africa Foundation staff, volunteers, artists, partners, and associates. This Policy may contain confidential and/or privileged information. If you are not the intended recipient, you are hereby notified that any dissemination, distribution, or copying of this Policy, or any of its contents, is strictly prohibited.

This Policy applies to all individuals associated with Tia Kids Africa Foundation, including but not limited to employees, volunteers, artists, partners, and visitors. Adherence to this Policy is mandatory, and any violation may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or association with Tia Kids Africa Foundation, and potential legal consequences.
Tia Kids Africa Foundation is committed to promoting the safety, protection, and well-being of all children involved in our programs, performances, and initiatives. This Policy sets out our approach to creating a child-safe environment and provides guidance on how to respond to concerns about child welfare. It is the responsibility of all individuals associated with Tia Kids Africa Foundation to familiarize themselves with this Policy and to act in accordance with its provisions.

CHILD - In this document, a "child" is defined as anyone under the age of 18, in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The aim of this policy is to promote good practice, providing children and young people with appropriate safety and protection whilst in the care of Tia Kids Africa Foundation, and to allow staff and volunteers to make informed and confident responses to specific child protection issues.
